Broker Council
This committee plans and produces programs each year for Designated and Managing Brokers.
Circle of Excellence
This committee reviews Circle of Excellence (COE) rules and examines all COE applications to qualify them for approval by the Board of Directors. Additionally, this committee plans the Circle of Excellence Banquet, held in March.
Commercial Council Planning
This committee plans, organizes, and promotes all Commercial Council events. 400N Commercial Council provides 400N members with leadership, education, networking opportunities, and market information to support and increase the skills, knowledge, and professionalism of experienced and incoming commercial REALTORS®. Commercial Email Listserv (Opt-In)
This group has opted in to receive messages from the 400N Commercial Listserv. It provides members with an efficient way to communicate by using a single email address: commercial@400northrealtors.com. The Listserv can be used to share commercial property listings and communicate commercial client needs.
Community Service and C.A.R.E.S. Committee
This committee fosters connections and collaboration within our Association and the surrounding community. The committee aims to strengthen our REALTOR® community by creating additional value opportunities, based on Member needs. This committee also plans, organizes, and produces events and/or projects that benefit our surrounding community.
Education
This committee plans, organizes, and promotes all educational seminars.
Governmental Affairs and RPAC Committee
This committee reviews legislation and recommends political action to protect the interests of REALTORS®, our industry, and our clients. It shapes the formulation of local laws and regulations through professional lobbying, grassroots advocacy, and supporting the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates for public office. This committee also works with RPAC to assist in raising funds and recommends disbursements for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee.
Membership Engagement Committee
The Membership Engagement Committee focuses on welcoming, connecting, and engaging members at every stage of their REALTOR® journey. Committee members help develop ideas and support initiatives that enhance member involvement, foster relationships, and create a sense of community within the association. This committee plays a key role in strengthening member connections and overall satisfaction.
Partner Program
The Partner Program Committee helps build strong relationships between our association and our industry partners. Committee members support partner engagement, recognition, and sponsorship opportunities that enhance member experiences and association events. This committee plays an important role in creating meaningful partnerships that support our programs while delivering value to both members and partners.
PR & Social Media Committee
The PR & Social Media Committee helps promote the association’s mission, events, and member achievements through strategic communication and social media outreach. Committee members assist with creating content, sharing news, and amplifying key messages to strengthen the association’s visibility and engagement within the community. This committee plays a vital role in telling our story and highlighting the value of membership.
YPN Planning
This committee will plan future YPN events, as well as provide direction for how the YPN can best serve our members.
Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative
The 400 North REALTORS® is a member of the Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative established by the Georgia Association of REALTORS®. Members of the following 2 committees are appointed by the 400N Board of Directors at the beginning of each calendar year.
Grievance
This committee reviews and investigates complaints against members as well as arbitration requests filed with the Association. When appropriate, it refers them to the Professional Standards Committee for a hearing.
In order to participate on this committee, you must: (1) have held REALTOR® membership for a minimum of three years; (2) attend a GAR-approved Professional Standards training seminar; and (3) sign a confidentiality agreement.
Professional Standards
This committee encourages strict adherence to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics by all members. It conducts hearings on alleged violations of the Code of Ethics, commission disputes, and other matters referred by the Grievance Committee and/or the Board of Directors.
In order to participate on this committee, you must: (1) have held REALTOR® membership for a minimum of five years; (2) attend a GAR-approved Professional Standards training seminar; and (3) sign a confidentiality agreement.
